At first, when I went back to March/April entries in my journal I was disappointed to see that “nothing” happened during this Jupiter transit through my 2nd house (conjunct my North Node), and then I realized that it was during that time that my therapist told me that I was ready to “graduate” from therapy, instead of money, this transit brought me security, stability, and emotional resources! Without your words I wouldn’t have been able to understand this. Always a lucky day when you share your knowledge! Thank you!
Oh that's such a lovely correlation! This is a great example of a Jupiter in Pisces transit!
You will soon have Jupiter conjoining your Aries placement and you'll be able to compare the two - which I imagine will be quite a contrast.
Jupiter in Pisces loves to show up in the subconscious, emotional and relational realm. It often travels with more of a subtle, gentle energy in these waters, despite being a rather boisterous planet.
I would add too, that Jupiter is often personified as the archetypal teacher or mentor (Saturn is as well, but in a different way), which could map on to your therapist.
Jupiter is about growth, expansion and freedom - expanding our horizons and growing beyond perceived limits... a Jupiter transit often coincides with a time when we are given permission or opportunity to free ourselves from our current situation and "expand to the next level" so to speak.
I hear this in your therapist indicating that you are ready to "graduate" from therapy - and that recognition and encouragement being part of Jupiter's gifts. Your 2nd house is now well stocked, in a watery Piscean way! Also, way to go with doing some deep North Node work - Jupiter is clearly very pleased with your efforts, given the timing :)
And thank you! My desire is always to write here more regularly, but the world is wildly distracting and my mutable nature is untamable!
I have natal Pisces on my 7th with Jupiter in my 6th. Jupiter in Pisces brought me a new part time job and wallop of new faces and relations. The day Jupiter crossed my chart ruler I was excited and had signed up for an art class. But then found out that my first steady boyfriend committed suicide on the same day. I looked at his chart for the first time and I was stunned at the connections we had. Looking at synnastry charts is what convinces me over and over that astrology is more than confirmation bias. It's more like archetypal genetics. Anyway, his passing kind of took the wind out of my sails. I still have yet to pick up the art supplies I bought. The remainder of Jupiter's visit through Pisces has just felt like floating and taking in the view. Trying to appreciate the time I have here despite the craziness around me.
I'm so sorry to hear of this loss, Nicole :( I hope you are given time and space to process and grieve as needed.
Am I understanding correctly that this occurred when Jupiter transited your Mercury in Pisces in the 7th? When the most impactful death in my life occurred, Jupiter was actually crossing my ascendant while transiting the deceased's natal Pluto. I've heard others speak to similar losses with Jupiter and I have some reflections on why this might be, but of course its an area of astrology I approach quite carefully.
However, astrological insight can be such a gift with helping to process the loss of someone and grounding oneself after the shock. It sounds like looking at his chart and noting the potent synnastry between you both was helpful for you?
I agree, synnastry is amazing, as is the way cosmic DNA pass down through families with repeated chart patterns.
Pisces, as the last sign, holds both the beginning and the end of everything in its infinite vastness. I think it is meaningful you had excitedly signed up for an art class on that same day. I hope with time, you may be able to access that excitement for this new endeavor once again!
Thanks for your response. Grief is always a meandering process. Yes, Jupiter was exact on my natal Mercury the day it happened. I would love to hear more on your thoughts on Jupiter, but I do understand the responsibility of speaking about these things as they relate to certain events. Be well. Thanks again for responding. I always enjoy your writing.
