Great post! I’ve been thinking about something similar this week, I don’t have a lot of fire in my chart (except for my very afflicted Mars rx in Aries, and my Venus in Leo), I feel so disconnected from the fire element and I would love to learn to nurture it and connect with this part of my chart, but I’m yet to find a physical activity that I enjoy that could keep me motivated to work out 🥲 I hope to one day find a way to let this fire express itself ❤️‍🔥 thank you so much for sharing!

Thanks!

It's easy to get disconnected from parts of our chart due to many factors! Mars in Aries and Venus in Leo is still a solid amount of fire though, especially given that they are personal (inner) planets that have relevance to our daily life :)

Also, among the planets, Mars is the planet with the most affinity to exercise/athleticism/sports. I've been reading Claire Gallagher's great new book "Body Astrology" (I consider her to be the top expert on an astrological approach to exercise), and for what it's worth she writes that Aries (thinking of your Mars) needs workouts that are fast, (safely) intense, straightforward and efficient (it gets bored and impatient otherwise) - and structured in a way that involves competition or self-challenges. She suggests crossfit, adventure sports, high intensity interval training, mixed martial arts and other combat sports (kickboxing?), etc.

Personally one or the reasons I love thebettyrocker.com is that most of her programs involve only 15 minute daily workouts and are structured like as a type of challenge which makes it seem doable to me!

Beyond exercise, I have been having lots of Nettle tea with cayenne (mars ruled herbs), lighting candles, trying to incorporate more fire colors into my wardrobe and doing solar plexus stretches to open that area/chakra.

Sometimes incorporating a bit of fire symbolism into your life externally can light a match internally :) Good luck with the process!
